Easter Extravaganza

Easter Extravaganza
Easter is a time for family and food. It is the day when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the victory of life over death. As children, this was hard to understand. To us it was a day when there was a lot of goodies on the table. Over the years we came to understand why this was so. Serving these foods was a symbolic representation of the joy of commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. And every year we always had something extravagant for Easter. It became a memorable day representing the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the revelation of God’s plan for all of humankind, through food.
Sending you peace, love and Easter Blessings.
