Peruvian Causa Recipe

Peruvian Causa Recipe /Causa Rellena ( Layered Potato Salad) is an old and popular Peruvian appetizer found in local restaurants and on kitchen tables throughout the country. Served cold, it is a colourfully tiered dish of mashed potatoes, avocado, and chicken or tuna (or veggie-friendly alternatives). Peruvian Causa Recipe  is so easy to make that there’s no reason not to give it a try! I had the privilage of learning this from a noted Peruvian Chef and we make it whenever we can lay our hands on some really good avocadoes. Potatoes are one of my husband’s favourite vegetable. Avocadoes are a great hit with me. So the combination is something we both love- a perfect marriage of two diverse ingredients that go well together when combined! When you google it, there are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, so take your pick on www.google.com

The best part was when a South American couple landed up for a class ( see image)and we had a great time exchanging notes on each other’s cuisine.
