Christmas has always been synonymous with good food and great company.  As children, we always looked forward to Christmas dinner which we had on the 24th night.  Each of us had their own requests and my Mum usually selected one of each of our requests, satisfying the four of us. There was always some kind of a roast with a lot of vegetables that we loved like potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, peas and cabbage and an amazing array of sweet and savoury treats prepared by my Mum or sent by my grandmother (Ajamma) from Kundapura near Mangalore.  My Dad would prepare the stuffing and my Mum would help him. Of course we had the joy of discovering exciting things in our Christmas stockings which we looked forward to throughout the year.  As we grew older and left home, each of us planned our own Menus and this time I am sharing A Wonderful Christmas Menu 2023 for those of you who are game enough to try it.
