Mini Mince Pie Magic

Mince pies have always fascinated me. Growing up, I assumed they were savoury because of the word mince—so imagine my surprise when I tasted my first sweet mince pie in Malaysia during Christmas! Since I love trying at least one new festive recipe each year (apart from the usual family favourites), I decided to make homemade fruit mince and mini mince pies.
That year, I was short on time and picked up a set of adorable micro-mini Christmas cutters—angels, bells, and little festive shapes—to top the pies. They turned out irresistibly cute and were an instant hit. Ever since, these tiny mince pies have become my annual Christmas giveaway tradition, enjoyed by friends who look forward to them every season.
The Recipe For Mini Mince Pie Magic

Ingredients
Start with the recipe for fruit mince which you will find here
This is a short cut recipe to make when one is short of time, especially during the Christmas season.
24 ready made mini tart cases
Fruit Mince as above

Mixed
Sliced red or green apples from which Christmas festive shapes will be cut out
Method

Cut out festive shapes using the mini Christmas cutters. I have a star, an angel, a bell and Christmas tree cutter. Arrange the mini tarts on a tray. Drop a teaspoon of Fruit mince into each tart and top with a Festive shape. These look amazing and very professional. Serve and enjoy.

These little pies may be tiny, but they’ve become a sweet reminder of the joy of sharing during Christmas—year after year.
