Five Easy Breakfast Ideas

One of the things I found really difficult when we moved to Malaysia was the endless cooking and cleaning.  Everything had to be done by myself.  Of course the children and spouse pitched in as well.  However, I was looking for an easier way to get the children ready for school on time and that is where the Fast Food For Intelligent People came in.  It was introduced by a church friend and we never looked back.  In fact, this has been our breakfast for nearly two decades and we revel in it.  Apart from being highly nutritious and boosting the immune system, it keeps us full, is low calorie and tastes absolutely wonderful.  There combinations and options are endless and I am so glad it came into our life.

There are so many variations to try

My name is Ruth and I am an Applied Psychologist with a post graduate degree in counseling and guidance. Over the years I have specialized in Obesity Counselling Services using food to reach out to the community. It is a great way to connect with people as food has an incredible impact on health. I started this blog to chronicle my adventures in the kitchen and to showcase the recipes handed down to me from my Mother and maternal grandmother Ajamma ( grandmother in the Kannada language). I do hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did putting it all together. I love reading, music, gardening, and learning new things everyday. My passion is enhancing human potential and teaching people that they have to take responsibility for their own lives. In short, I am the Versatile Housewife.
