Variations On Ma’s Fruit Salad

On To The Recipe:

Ma’s Fruit Salad is an easy recipe that my Mum used to make for special occasions. You can use any fruits of your choice and today am using the following:

Ingredients Required:
5 black grapes, sliced into rounds; 5 globe grapes, halved; 1/4 green apple, cored and sliced; 1/4 red apple, cored and sliced; 1 ripe banana; zest of 1/2 an orange: 3/4 cup evaporated milk; sea coconut sugar to taste; a few mint leaves or herbs of your choice.

Method:
Soak apples in salted water for 15 minutes (1/2 tsp salt in 2 cups water ). This is to prevent dis colouration.
Mix fruits together, add evaporated milk and mix again. Scatter zest on top followed by the mint leaves or herbs of your choice. Sprinkle sea coconut sugar on top and serve cold.
